Multi-level Security

MLSvisual

The MLS model mirrors military policies for controlling access to information. MLSvisual supports graphical creation, modification, and analysis of MLS policies. It also imports and exports a human-readable text- based policy. Analysis is via three graphical representations of a policy or via a query subsystem. A test module allows instructors to develop a set of questions a student must answer and then sends student responses via email. The system runs at the user-level and is not tied to the underlying file system. The system currently runs under Linux, MacOS and Windows.
